Lady Cubs soccer opened its season before school started this year and came away 1-0-1 from a road trip to Potter Valley and Upper Lake, two non-league contenders for the small-school NCS post season. In Potter Valley on Friday night the contest was a barnburner that saw the Cubs ultimately finish on top of a 7-4 score finally pulling away late in the second half from a Bearcat squad that just would not go away.   Full Story
