Kim Coelho, community engagement manager for the Alzheimer’s Association; Doug Durham, Alzheimer’s Impact Movement chair; Danielle Bradley, legislative aide to Sen. Mike McGuire; and Lynn McKenna, AIM Advocacy co-chair are pictured after their meeting at the 26th annual Alzheimer’s Advocacy Day recently held in Sacramento. Over 250 advocates from all over the state met to present a new bill being introduced to state legislators. Assembly Bill 2048 will require the California Department of Aging to update a tool called “Partnering With Your Doctor” and will help people have an effective doctor’s visit related to cognitive impairment and dementia.
