The Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge will present “Art and Nature at the Refuge” on Nov. 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and decorate a plantable paper and wildflower seed ornament and make a seedy treat to hang outside for birds. “Art and Nature at the Refuge” takes place the third Sunday of every month. It’s free and everyone is welcome to drop-in, rain or shine. All materials, artists and naturalists are provided. Participants should meet at the Richard J.
