The Humboldt County Department of Health & Human Services and community partners wrapped up the five-day Crisis Intervention Team training where nearly 40 representatives from local law enforcement agencies, mental health services providers and tribes learned how to better respond to people experiencing mental health crises. CIT recognized its three Responders of the Year during the CIT graduation ceremony on Oct. 11. Pictured, Humboldt County Correctional Sgt.
