The board of directors and officers for the Rotary Club of Southwest Eureka convened recently for its first meeting of the 2019-20 Rotary year at St. Joseph Hospital Evergreen Lodge. The club was instrumental in the development and construction of the lodge in 1989 and its expansion in 2005 and continues to support its mission to provide low-cost lodging to cancer patients and a family member or caregiver. The lodge provides 14 living suites, a common living area, utility room and RV spaces for patients receiving extensive medical treatment.
