Tickets on sale for annual ‘Zootini’ fundraiser

Tickets are now on sale for the Sequoia Park Zoo and Foundation’s 13th annual “Zootini” gala. “Zootini” will be held Aug. 10 from 5 to 9:45 p.m. at Sequoia Park Zoo, 3414 W St. in Eureka.

This fundraising event includes zoo-themed specialty cocktails, a gourmet dinner by Five Eleven Catering, up-close animal encounters, entertainment, dessert and dancing. State Sen. Mike McGuire will serve as guest auctioneer for a live auction, with a silent auction also planned.

Tickets are $100 each, which includes a gourmet dinner for one, souvenir martini glass and a free first drink. A table of eight is available for $1,000; this includes a gourmet dinner for eight, two bottles of wine, a table butler, souvenir martini glasses and free first drinks. A table for 10 is available for $1,250, which includes a gourmet dinner for 10 guests, three bottles of wine, a table butler, souvenir martini glasses and free first drinks. This event is for folks 21 and older.
