Humboldt State to host lecture on single-payer health care

The Humboldt State University Associated Students, AMSA and PreMed clubs are sponsoring a free public lecture by two dynamic speakers on healthcare reform for California and the nation.

Dr. Ed Weisbart, professor of medicine, St. Louis, and Timothy Faust, New York City author and healthcare advocate, offer a solution: “Single-Payer Health Care: Simple, Prudent and Proudly American.”

It takes place Thursday, April 11, in HSU’s Kate Buchanan Room. Doors open 5:00 p.m. for a 5:30 p.m. presentation followed by Q & A. Snacks will be provided. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
