The whole thing’s a money-making scene; people are just getting drunk. Dan Shahin, Arcata: I stay away from the bars. We don’t drink and I don’t like people that do. That’s a day when everybody does, even people who don’t normally drink. Seasoned drunks and non-seasoned drunks: That’s a bad combination. Steven Margell, Arcata: I usually celebrate with the A-Team Kinetic Sculpture crew. They always throw a shindig to raise funds for their Kinetic sculpture. Guillermo Grandis, Arcata: I like to go to bars. Here, we have so many options. I need to go to the ones where they have football! Austin Wood, Arcata: We’ll probably go to the bars and try to meet some college chicks.
