SANTA CLARA, CA – DECEMBER 9: San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle (85) is tackled at the end of a run following a catch by Denver Broncos’ Justin Simmons (31) in the first quarter at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018. (Nhat V. Meyer/Bay Area News Group)

How the race for the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft is playing out going into Week 15 after the George Kittle Show erupted at Levi’s Stadium and the Steelers went down in Oakland:

49ers (3-10)

Beat Denver 20-14

With Seattle and Chicago working for playoff position, 49ers look to be in good shape for top pick even if Rams sit out key players in the finale as they did a year ago.

Remaining schedule: Seattle (7-5), Chicago (9-4), at L.A. Rams (11-2).

Arizona (3-10)

Lost to Detroit 17-3

Fell convincingly in battle between two teams competing for non-superiority. Lost by 14 points on a day when they held Matt Stafford to 104 yards passing.

Remaining schedule: at Atlanta (4-9), L.A. Rams (11-2), at Seattle (7-5).

Raiders (3-10)

Beat Pittsburgh 24-21

Bengals beatable, so are Broncos based on first meeting and where both teams are at. If Chiefs don’t need the last game, who knows? Could be 6-10 again?

Remaining schedule: at Cincinnati (5-8), Denver (6-7), at Kansas City (11-2).

Atlanta (4-9)

Lost to Green Bay 34-20

Really no good reason Falcons should be this bad. Could be the team most helped by coming up with a high draft pick, but remaining schedule has three potential wins.

Remaining schedule: Arizona (4-9), at Carolina (6-7), at Tampa Bay (5-8)

N.Y. Jets (4-9)

Beat Buffalo 27-23

Sam Darnold gets the win in duel between rookie first-round draft picks. But Jets appear to be light years from maximizing Darnold’s talent without a new offensive coordinator/head coach.

Remaining schedule: Houston (9-4), Green Bay (5-7-1), at New England (9-4).

Buffalo (4-9)

Lost to N.Y. Jets 27-23

Quarterback Josh Allen’s skills are not in question. Ran for 101 yards, threw for 206 against Jets. No evidence as of yet he can succeed in the pocket.

Remaining schedule: Detroit (5-8), at New England (9-4), Miami (7-6).

Jacksonville (4-9)

Lost to Tennessee 30-9

Don’t underestimate the Jaguars chances of losing out and moving up given the way Derrick Henry ran them over on Thursday night. Exec Tom Coughlin reportedly waiting in the wings to coach.

Remaining schedule: Washington (6-7), at Miami (7-6), at Houston (9-4).
