Eureka Emblem Club No. 298 recently presented Kendall Hammer with a scholarship award. Hammer graduated from beauty school while working for Jitter Bean Coffee, started a beauty salon four years ago and then decided to go back to school and get her degree in business management. She’s been working full time and going to school full time and will get her degree from Humboldt State University in the spring.
