Humboldt County’s final unofficial election report issued early Wednesday morning showed the following results:

Trinidad City Council

Six candidates squared off for three Trinidad City Council seats and early returns showed Mayor Susan Rotwein with 22.54 percent of the vote, followed by James Baker’s 20.90 percent, and Tom Davies’ 20.49 percent. Close behind was Dwight Miller with 20.08 percent. Trailing further back: Brett Gregory, with 8.61 percent, and Michael Morgan, with 5.74 percent.

Rio Dell City Council

Three seats are up for grabs in Rio Dell. According to early results, Bryan Richter had 30.42 percent of the vote. Julie Woodall had 31.40 percent. Current Councilwoman Debra Garnes had 22.35 percent, with John McManus trailing with 13.78 percent.

Ferndale mayor

According to early returns, Councilman Michael Sweeney was leading the race for Ferndale’s mayor with 70.02 percent of the vote. Steve Nunes is trailing with 29.31 percent of the vote.
