LIVERMORE, Calif. (AP) _ FormFactor Inc. (FORM) on Wednesday reported second-quarter profit of $9.1 million.
The Livermore, California-based company said it had profit of 12 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and stock option expense, came to 27 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 24 cents per share.
The integrated circuits diagnostic company posted revenue of $135.5 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $134.5 million.
For the current quarter ending in October, FormFactor expects its per-share earnings to range from 20 cents to 26 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $130 million to $138 million for the fiscal third quarter.
FormFactor shares have declined 17 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $13.05, a decrease of 1.5 percent in the last 12 months.
