Two South Fork juniors were selected to represent the school at the American Legion Auxiliary leadership events set to take place at the Claremont McKenna campus.

Sophia Wallace-Boyd will attend the California Girls State leadership event that is designed to increase and awareness of governmental processes. She is the daughter of Jeremy Wallace and Laura Boyd of Whitethorn and has participated in varsity soccer and the California Scholarship Federation. She plans to attend UC Berkeley after graduation.

CJ VanMeter was selected to attend California Boys State. He is the son of Bret and Suzanne VanMeter of Redway. He is active in football, basketball and baseball teams as well as a regular volunteer in the community and a part of student government.
