Stephen Curry”s magnificent Game 5 performance in the NBA Finals Sunday night not only ruined Cleveland, it took a toll on the league”s MVP. A wobbly Curry was taken to the trainer”s room after the game, where he was treated for dehydration.
Curry, who made seven 3-pointers and scored 37 points in the Warriors” 104-91 victory, was noticeably struggling at the end of his postgame interview session. He had his hands on his head and took a slow, wobbly walk from the interview room to the locker room. With his family members waiting outside, Curry was administered fluids.
Although he will be monitored, Curry is expected to be fine and will play in a potential series-clinching Game 6 on Tuesday in Cleveland, according to a team spokesman.
