Flag caps available for city”s July Fourth parade

Piedmont Scouting is selling the caps to mark the 50th anniversary of Piedmont”s Fourth of July Parade. “We are excited to honor such a great tradition in Piedmont, and the caps are also a great way for people to wear red, white and blue while supporting all the boys and girls involved in Scouting,” said Pete Wilson, vice president of development for the Piedmont BSA Council. The caps will also be sold by on July 4 along the parade route by Oakland-based Troop 100, which was launched by a partnership of Piedmont BSA Council, Beebe Memorial Cathedral and the 100 Black Men of the Bay Area. The caps, available in blue or red, are on sale now for $20 each at Mulberry”s Market and the Scout office.
