A Red Bluff woman was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and other charges after allegedly hitting another woman in the head with a rock during an argument Saturday.
Red Bluff Police said this morning that Cynthia Bishop, 42, would additionally faced charges of vandalism and drug paraphernalia after an altercation with 45-year-old Carol Golsh about 7:33 p.m. Saturday evening.
An argument between the two quickly escalated into a fight, police said. Bishop allegedly picked up a large rock and struck Golsh several times in the head.
As Bishop attempted to leave in the vehicle of Mark Armstrong, Golsh broke the windshield with the rock, police said.
Bishop was found to be in possession of narcotics paraphernalia and booked into the Tehama County Jail on $33,000, according to police.
Glosh was transported to St. Elizabeth”s Hospital in Red Bluff and listed in stable condition.
