Participants in The Wounded Warrior Project and the Semper Fi Sisters are planning a fundraiser with up to 40 local business vendors, door prizes, a silent auction and more at Riverbend Park 1-6 p.m. Oct. 19, rain or shine.

Activities include a cake walk, vendor sales, tamale food truck and kettlecorn truck and hot dogs, chips and soda sold by the Fi Sisters.

All proceeds will go to the Whatif Military Challenge organization which will provide copies of the book, “Jonathan James and the Whatif Monster,” for children of veterans who are experiencing their own anxiety issues. The Whatif Military Challenge organization will mail the books during the Christmas season.

Booth spaces are $45 each.
