In celebration of the 145th anniversary of Gandhi’s birth, the Earth School of Higher Learning announces its study program every Friday through the month of October: The Practice and Theory of Nonviolence.
Utilizing its large library of works by Gandhi – over 50 books – the study will also delve into the life and works of other nonviolent innovators such as Martin Luther King, Dorothy Day, Leo Tolstoy and more.
The study will take place 5 to 7 p.m. Fridays at the Reading Room in the Bike Workshop building at 1007 2nd St. in Garberville. For more information and to register, write the Earth School at P.O.
