An important part of the global movement to label, better yet, ban GMOs will be held in the March Against Monsanto on Saturday, Oct. 18 in Eureka. Bring your kids, dogs, costumes such as honey bees, bumble bees, beekeepers, butterflies or ladybugs. The possibilities are endless. Bring your dogs, signs, drums – whatever your imagination dictates to march against Monsanto and for seed freedom.
Protect ourselves, our children, our CSAs, our bees, our organic farms, our mother earth, our organic farmers, ourselves, our rights, and our very existence. The group will meet at 2nd and I streets, starting at 2 p.m., and at 3 p.m. they will march to the Humboldt County Courthouse, where there will be various speakers and participants will have the opportunity to speak. Check out March Against Monsanto, Eureka on Facebook for more information.
