A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of the Upper Pacific Nature and Fitness Trail in Shelter Cove took place on Saturday, Sept. 20. Supervisor Estelle Fennell had the honor of cutting the ribbon to officially dedicate the newest trail in the growing number of them in the Cove. This trail is a joint effort of Shelter Cove Arts and Recreation Foundation, the Shelter Cove Resort Improvement District and the Shelter Cove Property Owners Association. All three organizations worked hard to make this happen. From left to right are Nanette Corley, Bill Franklin, Ken Klaas, Phillip Young, Supervisor Estelle Fennell, Susie Fox and Mark Mitchell.
