Rashad Parker scored 28 points and snared seven rebounds as the Chico State men”s basketball team defeated Humboldt State 82-70 Saturday night in Arcata.
Parker shot 9 for 16 from the field including 5 of 10 on 3-point attempts as the Wildcats (12-4, 8-4 California Collegiate Athletic Association) snapped a two-game losing streak.
Jordan Semple added 15 points and 10 rebounds for Chico State against the Lumberjacks (8-10, 3-9), and Sean Park also scored 15.

Jazmine Miller scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Wildcats (11-5, 7-5 California Collegiate Athletic Association) overcame a 15-point, second-half deficit to beat the Lumberjacks (8-8, 5-7) in Arcata for Chico State”s third straight victory.
McKenzie Dalthorp added 16 points and 11 rebounds for Chico State, which took the lead on Annie Ward”s 3-pointer with 26 seconds left. Analise Riezebos added two free throws with 7 seconds remaining, and the Lumberjacks missed a 3 at the buzzer.

Chico”s John Leal took second place at 160 pounds and teammate Morgan Sauseda (106) placed fourth at the two-day tournament in Sacramento that had 96 teams.
