Humboldt Library Foundation unveils eighth bookmark series

During a reception on Thursday, June 6 at the Humboldt County Library’s Eureka Branch the Humboldt Library Foundation unveiled their eighth biannual series of artistic bookmarks.

Working with Lost Coast Daily Painters artists Andrew Daniel, Ralphie Hendrix, Joyce Jonte, Jim McVicker, Theresa Oats, Steve Porter and Rachael K. Schlueter this new series of bookmarks are available to the public at all Humboldt Library branches and the Bookmobile.

Humboldt Library Foundation produces these stunning bookmarks in support of their Buy a Book campaign. The Buy a Book campaign gives donors the opportunity to buy anything from a single book to an entire bookshelf of books for the Humboldt County Library system. Your tax deductable donation would be a wonderful gift in memory of a loved one or a thoughtful gift for a birthday or any holiday.

Log onto HLF’s new website at www.humboldtlibraryfoundation.org for more information on Buy a Book, to make a donation, look at all the past as well as the most recent bookmarks and to register to win a Kindle 3G electronic reader or a $200 gift certificate at Eureka Books.
