Stacy Campbell of Hubbs Stationery is noting that it”s not her store that will be closing. Earlier, the Hallmark Store near Safeway on Mangrove Avenue indicated it would be closing its doors later this summer.
Campbell, who is the manager of Hubbs, 956 Mangrove Ave., near Blockbuster Video, said her store has been mistaken for the other store and has gotten a lot of phone calls.
Hubbs is celebrating its 57th year in business, and 15th in Chico this year.
The Innovation Lab in Chico is planning its first workshop in a leadership series.
The event is 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the lab, 345 Huss Lane, off Hegan Lane.

Cliff Marler has been hired by the Oroville Chamber of Commerce on a part-time basis.
He will be helping with clerical duties, customer service and other tasks.
An Oroville native, Marler has an in-depth knowledge of the area and its history, has been a profession photographer and was a former supervisor with Long”s Drugs.
