On Thursday, April 1 at 5 p.m. on KMUD 91.1 FM, the So-Hum Amateur Radio Club (SHARC) presents a new show: “The SHARC Report.” The first show will focus on emergency communication in fire and earthquake country and the SHARC two-meter communication network.

They will also discuss the upcoming Technician-Class ham radio license course that SHARC is offering later in the month in Garberville to help So-Hum residents prepare for emergency communication before fire season starts. This is a great learning opportunity for anyone interested in radio, science or technology, is open to people of all ages, and costs very little money. Call Jack at 923-3700 to sign up for the Technician-Class course.
