To the Editor:
I was glad to read Barbara Truitt’s letter in the Jan. 6 issue of the Redwood Times in which she calls for the process of the Community Park to be protected at every step by thorough investigation and careful discussion. I’m very much for that.
My search for examples of low levels of civility and respect in the papers hasn’t found any evidence. It would be great to have any pointed out specifically.
Barbara’s letter disclosed a surprising fact, if accurate, that money procured for purchasing the Park was actually paid for the purchase of the whole Tooby Ranch. I would be glad to understand this better.
I think the enactment of an indefinite moratorium on large-scale, amplified music events needs to be announced by the Park Board.
