The warm, sunny climate and alluvial soils of Southern Humboldt sustain a healthy number of smallscale organic farmers. The produce available ranges from several kinds of lettuces, salad mixes, spring onions, flower and vegetable starts, and cool weather kale, spinach and chard through May and into July, to new and old varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, leeks, garlic, onions and an amazing array of winter and summer squash from July into the fall.

Besides the good food, our markets are also attended by vendors of locally produced pottery, basketry, body care, and other products not found elsewhere.
