President Syd Lehman and the Board of Directors of the Garberville/ Redway Area Chamber of Commerce, along with executive director Dee Way, extend a warm welcome to visitors to the area and invite everyone to share the myriad of experience that Southern Humboldt’s enchanting Redwood Empire has to offer.

The Garberville/Redway area is not only a fine vacation destination spot, but it also is the perfect base for your day trips to the spectacular redwood groves of the areas state parks, the intriguing Lost Coast, the community of Shelter Cove, the secluded King Range National Conservation Area, and Sinkyone Wilderness State Park. Uncrowded parklands, wildflowers, and abundant wildlife set the stage for family outdoor recreational opportunities.

If the natural attractions need supplementing, the local entertainment calendar includes numerous events such as concerts, a Fourth of July family picnic concluding with a spectacular fireworks display, a CCPRA professional rodeo, a summer arts and music festival, an internationally renowned reggae festival, and a motorcycle run for Harley- Davidson owners, to name a few.

Way also encourages visitors to enjoy fine lodging and dining, and to browse the communities’
