The South Fork JV girls’ basketball team played a tough Hoopa team Friday night at home. They fell behind early to finish the first half down 33-12.

They came out in the second half and played good defense regaining a little distance finishing the third down 42-23. They were unable to keep the momentum into the fourth and gave the younger players more of a chance to play eventually losing the game by a score of 54-29.

Point Guard Victoria Van Meter ran the ball well down the court and was a bright spot for the Cubs.
