The South Fork High School wrestling team faced off in their toughest meet of the season so far the North Coast Classic in Eureka. Wyatt Gratzel went 1-2 in a tough man varsity bracket doing well against some stiff competition.

Bowen Low drew the number-one seed in his varsity bracket and after losing two matches dropped down into the JV bracket where the sophomore was able to pick up two wins including one by pin.

Senior Megan Garcia went 1-2 over the weekend beating her first male opponent by a score of 13-5 and almost defeating two more.

Justus Arreguin wrestled up a weight class winning one match and almost pulling out a second.

The team missed Sean Sweeney who was out with the flu. The Cubs look to be picking up momentum for their tournament in Windsor next weekend.
