Garberville Rotary Club’s student of the month for September is South Fork High School senior Kaitlyn Teasley. She is shown here with Rotarian Craig Parkinson and teacher Aleta Sauer. She was presented with a certificate and a $100 bill for her outstanding participation in the Career Technical Information Department. Sauer said Kaitlyn is an excellent student and works in the school office as a business and finance cadet. Sauer said, “Kaitlyn has mastered her business classes and puts in added effort.” She plays basketball and soccer and is a student representative on the school board. Kaitlyn has plans to attend junior college and study law enforcement or wildlife biology to work towards a career as a game warden.
