This conference brought together youth from jurisdictions throughout California and representatives of the court system, educators, and community organizations providing a range of law-related educational and leadership opportunities.
This year the Youth Court Summit included workshops, plenary sessions and presentations focused on hate crimes, bullying, suspension diversion and advanced techniques for Teen Court programs. The Summit provides as a wonderful opportunity for our youth to represent Humboldt County, instilling them with positive skills that will serve them for a lifetime.
Humboldt County Teen Court especially wants to recognize Humboldt Sponsors and the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission for their generous support and financial contributions, which helped to make this trip possible.
