Redwood Coast Connect (RCC) is a broadband demand aggregation project that began last September. The long-term goal of the project, of which this is the first phase, is to make available ubiquitous broadband to all rural communities in the region through the aggregation of users, engagement of providers, simplification of county and municipal policies and tapping the ingenuity of entrepreneurs in the region. This planning phase is accessing regional readiness of rural communities in Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, and Trinity Counties.

The project team has completed mapping broadband supply as well as gauging the demand via surveys and community meetings. The team is ready to share some preliminary data about supply and demand and give residents of the four-county area an opportunity to provide feedback. Community stakeholders are an important part of the RCC project. The RCC team wants to know what community members think about preliminary supply and demand data.

The feedback process is simple, will take less than five minutes, and is dial-up friendly. The link is http://redwoodcoastconnect.humboldt.edu/feedback. Feedback will be accepted
