To the Editor:

I’m going to keep this short and sweet. We are lucky to have six people running for the Health District board of directors. I remember many elections where they scrambled to find one person to run.

They are all earnest people. I believe some are running on old business. I am worried that the Darryl Cherney faction will stir it all up again. That was an unbelievable fiasco.

I’ve listened to the candidates on KMUD. I heard some things that are just not true. Things are running pretty smoothly over there at the hospital and clinic. It’s all on the right track, going in the right direction.

I heard today that the earthquake retro-fitting was completed. That’s amazing. So I suggest and request that you vote for Corrine Stromstad, Clif Anderson and David Ordonez.

These folks are highly qualified and they have no hidden agenda. They just want to see the hospital alive and healthy.
