To the Editor;

Yes, it is sad that the funding from taxation did not pass. Not to worry, as we (Fruitland residents) will come together in September (weekend to be determined soon) and have a fundraising party. There will be live music, food, and donations from many local businesses for the raffle.

Things like this and other events the Fruitland fire crew attend and host are the "new" bake sales. With donations from all the local businesses, owned by the residents of Fruitland Ridge, this event will be a success and fun for all.

Even if you can’t attend, please just buy a ticket and help a very local fire crew stay intact for all of Fruitland.
