The produce distribution sponsored by the Donate Don’t Dump program of Foodlink has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 10. We hope to have it regularly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month until produce gets scarce. Volunteers are needed to help keep order during the distribution in both Redway and Garberville.
The distribution will be set up in front of the Food Pantry in Garberville from 10:30 a.m. to noon and then move to the Baptist Church in Redway from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. In last year’s distributions we received salad and chopped vegetables, plums, onions, apples, oranges, potatoes, squash, broccoli, olives, strawberries, and miscellaneous other stuff.
If you work with an agency that serves low income people, you may pick up supplies to distribute through your agency. For any questions, please contact Patti at 923-2477.
