The American Cancer Society’s Humboldt-Del Norte Unit will hold the “Look Good...Feel Better” program on Tuesday, May 20, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. at the American Cancer Society unit office, 2942 F Street, Eureka.
The program is open to women currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation or those who have recently completed their treatment. Specially trained local cosmetologists will teach skin care, make-up, how to deal with hair loss, and scarf tying. A free make-up kit valued at $300 will also be provided.
The Look Good...Feel Better (LGFB) program is a partnership between three organizations: the American Cancer Society (ACS), the Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association (CTFA) Foundation, and the National Cosmetology Association (NCA).
