Redwoods Rural Health Center just received this year’s flu immunizations which are available to RRHC’s patients on a first come basis. Priority will be given to RRHC’s patients who are immune-compromised or those over the age 55 with diabetes, chronic respiratory conditions or other chronic disease states. Current RRHC patients who have been seen by one of our medical providers within the last year can call to make a lab appointment for the flu immunization or request to receive it during their regular appointment.
There will also be a flu clinic day on Thursday, Oct. 17. Patients can walk in and receive their flu immunizations from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Flu vaccines are free to Medicare, Medi-Cal, and sliding scale patients. All other patients can be vaccinated at a cost of $40. Payment is due at the time of service.
Please call Redwoods Rural Health Center at 923-2783 for information or to make an appointment.
