The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) will be at Redwoods Rural Health Center’s dental parking lot again on Tuesday, March 12 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The (MEV) Mobile Engagement Van will be there as usual offering their services such as sign-ups for MediCal, C.M.S.P., Path2Health, CalWORKs, mental health and counseling.

This month in addition to their regular services they will also have the Veterans Services Office (VSO). This service will provide comprehensive benefits counseling, including possible eligibility and enrollment to VA health care, help with obtaining records and documentation and assistance with claim preparation and submission for service connected compensation and/or disability pensions. Food for people will also be there.

RRHC hopes all of you will spread the word and join them for this monthly occasion. They hope to have this continue to happen on the second Tuesday of each month. Of course the events and schedule are subject to change.
