Pledge-A-Picketer campaigns are hugely successful in other parts of the country where there are lots of anti-choice protestors. Six Rivers Planned Parenthood hasn’t had to do one in a while because they haven’t had a lot of protestors for many years. But now they are faced with Right to Life’s 40 Days of Life anti-choice campaign. This national campaign has come to Humboldt County for the first time.

Recently, a group of about 20 anti-choice protestors gathered for a kick-off rally.

On the website for Right to Life’s 40 Days, protestors are signing up to be at the entrance to SRPP’s property all day, every day for 40 days. They were there one morning with a video camera trained on the intersection to capture images of staff and patients arriving at SRPP.

Anti-choice protesters are planning to visit SRPP’s Health Center every day for 40 days. They will be carrying signs, handing out misleading information and may even yell hurtful things. Their presence harasses the staff and intimidates their patients.

Stop the intimidation. Let your voice be heard. Pledge a gift for each day protesters picket outside the medical center from February 13 through March 24.

Show the picketers your choice. SRPP will regularly notify the picketers how much money is raised. The more they protest the more money is raised for SRPP.

Join the Pledge-A-Picket campaign by pledging a set amount for each day the Six Rivers Planned Parenthood health center is picketed between Feb. 13 through March 24.

Or make a one-time donation toward the campaign.
