The American Cancer Society will hold the “Look Good... Feel Better” workshop on Monday, Nov. 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Hospital’s Marion Room, 3300 Renner Drive, Fortuna.

The program is open to women currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation or those who have recently completed their treatment. Specially trained local cosmetologists will teach skin care, make-up techniques, how to deal with hair loss, and scarf tying. A free make-up kit valued at $300 will also be provided.

The Look Good... Feel Better (LGFB) program is a partnership between three organizations: the American Cancer Society (ACS), the Personal Care Products Council Foundation, and the Professional Beauty Association/National Cosmetology Association (ACA).
