Members of the local Red Cross Disaster Action Team (DAT) recently became certified in a Red Cross First Aid class. Patte Rae instructed the class and coordinates the local group. The group meets the first Wednesday of each month, 6 p.m. at the Cal Fire station on Alderpoint Road. Red Cross training such as this first aid class helps everyday people save lives. Through their participation in health and safety programs, it allows the Red Cross to provide lifesaving programs and services within our community. If you are interested in participating or finding out more about our local Red Cross Group and the services it offers please contact Patte Rae at 707-223-1560.
