Heart of the Redwoods invites you to participate in our Thankfulness and Remembrance display where you can honor the living or remember the special people in your life who have died. We will honor each person named with a commemoration on a hand folded origami crane. The cranes will hang in the windows of Karen Miclette Insurance, Humboldt Hunnies, and North Valley Bank in downtown Garberville until the first week in January. Traditionally, origami cranes represent wishes of good fortune and peace. Your participation (and donation) will honor those you love while helping Hospice carry on its mission of service to our community.
