Individuals are asked to “self certify” that they are eligible by signing in. Bring identification for each of your household members with your local address as we will be doing certifications of residence (if you have not already been certified). If you are picking up for a homebound person, you must have a note from them with their name, address, the number in their family, income, a copy of their ID and authorization. We ask that individuals or families try to come only once a month to help us serve as many households as possible -- but if you need food, come. If you have been told that an ID will be needed before your next pick up, remember to bring it.
The Food Pantry is usually open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-noon, and Wednesdays from 2-4 p.m. Volunteers are needed for back up on all three days. Anyone wishing to donate food for the Food Pantry program or who has an idea of how to improve the distribution program should talk to the volunteers. Watch for food donation barrels coming to a location near you soon for the Holiday Food Drive. For more information, call Patti at 923-2477.
