Monthly bird walk set for community park

The Audubon Society will host its spring bird walk April 28 at Southern Humboldt Community Park. The walk will be led by Kyle Keegan. Meet at Tooby Park at 8:30 a.m. for the two- to three-hour walk. Heavy rain cancels the planned walk.

Telegraph Ridge Fire District holds BBQ

The Telegraph Ridge Fire Protection District is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a fundraiser event at Ettersburg School on April 29 from 1 to 6 p.m. The event helps raise money for the acquisition of the school property to be used as a future firehouse for the district. The fundraiser is set to include barbecue from BBQ for You, live music, fun and games.

Breast screenings available in Garberville

Life flight membership fees increase
