Small Burr Valley marijuana grow seized by sheriff's office

The following is a press release issued by the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office:

On Wednesday, at approximately 10 a.m. Humboldt County Sheriff's Office deputies served a Humboldt County Superior Court search warrant in the Burr Valley area of Humboldt County. When deputies arrived at the parcel, they located 90 marijuana plants, all approximately 12 feet tall. The plants were being watered by a recently installed well on the property. There was a structure on the scene; however it was not being lived in. There were no suspects at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
