Two power outages in the Trinidad area are currently affecting just over 170 Pacific Gas and Electric Co. customers, spokesman JD Guidi said.
Both outages were caused by trees hitting power lines. One tree hit a power line at Old Wagon Road and Westhaven Drive, Guidi said.
"We expect to get power back by 4 a.m.," he said.
A tree also hit a power line on Eighth Street and brought the line down, Guidi said.
"We have a crew on site working the outage," he said. "At this time, we should have everybody up by midnight."
The Eighth Street outage began at about 4:40 p.m., according to PG&E, while the Westhaven Drive outage began just before 6 p.m.
