In their fourth meet of the season South Fork had a great weekend with all four of the wrestlers who traveled placing at their meet in Middletown. The Cubs began the weekend 9-7 on Friday during the round robin seeding and improved Saturday going 11-5 as a team in the meet.

Senior Justus Arrequin at 132 lbs. finished 5th out of a large field of 16 with a record of 5-2. Sophomore Wyatt Gratzell at 120 lbs. finished 4th with a record of 4-2. Freshman Sean Sweeny at 182 lbs. finished 4th with a record of 1-2. Senior Megan Garcia had an amazing weekend going 4-0 in the round robin and following it up 4-0 in the tournament to place first in her division at 126 lbs. She pinned her opponent in an "Iowa stack" a move she learned 20 minutes prior to the match.

Senior Jerad Sherman was missed nursing a knee as was Sophomore Bown Low who is looking forward to returning next week in Eureka. The wrestling season continues next weekend starting at 9 a.m. in Eureka at the North Coast Classic.
