Rose-pruning demonstrations will take place this weekend on Saturday, Feb. 2, at Pierson’s on South Broadway in Eureka, at 10 a.m. There is no fee, and there will be an additional rose potting/planting demonstration, as well.
On Sunday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m., the final demonstration will be held at the Humboldt Botanical Garden adjacent to College of the Redwoods campus. (There may be a fee for non-members.)
Some of the trained Humboldt Rose Society rosarians make house calls to help individuals with their pruning or do the job for them. People interested in this service would have to check with the individuals to learn their fees.
