With the recent approval of the permit application for Reggae On The River by the Humboldt County Planning Commission, the Mateel Community Center's plans are now in full swing to return the 29th annual festival to its original French's Camp venue, located just north of the Humboldt County line in the Cook's Valley area. The event will take place on Aug. 1-4 and tickets for this highly anticipated homecoming event will go on sale Friday, Feb. 1 at www.reggaeontheriver.com.
The main three-day festival will take place Friday through Sunday, Aug. 2-4, and a limited number of early arrival tickets will allow access to the grounds and an extra evening of entertainment on Thursday, Aug. 1.
A total of 6,000 tickets will be made available to the public, with only 2,500 of those being early arrival tickets, and they are expected to go fast due to heightened interest in this special celebration.
Tickets will be priced at $160 for the three-day pass or $210 for the four-day early arrival ticket. They will be available online starting Friday, Feb. 1 and at local Humboldt and Mendocino County outlets shortly thereafter.
Please note that camping will available on site for an additional price of $40 for the weekend, which will be assessed upon arrival for those wishing to camp. Stay tuned to the festival website at www.reggaeontheriver.com or join the ROTR email list for the latest event information, including the first wave of artist announcements coming soon.
