I am eternally indebted to Southern Humboldt

To the Editor:

As many of you may know, I have left my position at Redwoods Rural Health Center. This move happened sooner than expected and I regret not being able to say goodbye to each of you as I would have liked.

I have been blessed to work with and care for the Southern Humboldt community for over four years. On many occasions during this time I paused and reflected on the depth and beauty of the human nature, not just the immense physical presence, around me. Though my appreciation of destiny is great, still I remain in awe of my time working with the people of Southern Humboldt. You are all amazing stewards and teachers and I am eternally indebted to you.

My prayer is that more and more we can all be healed by the movements of our lives. For me, the beckoning of my child(ren) and the opportunities for education have called me to move for the moment, but in many ways my heart will always remain in Humboldt.

Redwoods Rural Health Center is an amazing organization and I have been blessed to work with an excellent team of health care providers. Please know how much your support means to them, especially in these times, and is paramount to their continued existence.

I call on you all to continue to support those in your community who provide services in health care and education. The committed dedication of these individuals creates the space we all share in growing our bodies, minds and spirits.

So with the tenderest of gestures I say goodbye and release you my brothers and sisters knowing that with every breath I offer my knowledge of our eternal relation. I love you all; thank you for everything.

If ever I can be of service, or if you just want to say hi, please feel free to contact me at Coastal Health Alliance - Community Health Centers of West Marin.

Be well.
